Licensed Clinical Supervisor

Description position:

• The Licensed Clinical Supervisor is responsible for the administrative, clinical, and programmatic duties regarding substance abuse, mental health and co-occurring disorders.
• He or she provides clinical and administrative supervision to the program’s staff.
• Knowledgeable /competent in evidenced based best practice models.
• He or she is responsible for overall contract management of existing program contracts.
• He or she is knowledgeable about insurance and other funding processes and guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

• LCSW (must be a Qualified Supervisor), LMFT, LMHC, or Licensed Psychologist, with previous clinical and administrative supervisory experience.
• Graduate from an accredited University with a Master’s Degree in Social Work, Mental Health, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or PhD in Counseling or Psychology.
• Knowledgeable of insurance reimbursement and prior authorization process.
• Previous clinical experience working with children and adolescents, with substance abuse and/or mental health issues.

Description Position:

If you possess superior interpersonal and communication skills, desire to work in a supportive environment with constructive oversight, and are passionate about serving youth in the delinquency system, and their families, in their homes, we want you!

Experience in family systems therapy or behaviorally-based marital and drug treatment therapy preferred. Master’s in a mental health field or related field required. Competitive benefits. Base salary $33,500.

Therapist will need to be available mornings and evenings 9-9 Monday-Thursday and 9-4 Fridays and 3 weekends a year. Heavy evening hours. Therapist will need to achieve a 25 hour productivity comprised of case management and family therapy. Caseload varies between 12-15 cases.

Description:

• The Therapist is responsible for providing specialized community-based individual and family therapy for children, teens, and young
adults whose diagnosis includes the presence of a substance abuse, mental health and/or co-occurring conditions.

• The Therapist is responsible for conducting in-depth biopsychosocial evaluations and working closely with other staff members to
address the clients’ behavioral health issues, and maintaining clients’ records up to date.

• The Therapist is the liaison with client’s family members, significant others, community agencies, funders, referral sources, and
others as specified by the Program Supervisor.

• These therapeutic services are community- based and take place in the client’s home and/or school. Evening hours are required.
Reliable transportation is required.

Position Requirements:

• Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in counseling, psychology, social work, or other
related discipline. Licensed eligible or Registered Intern with the Board of Health.

• A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in substance abuse or comparable field.

• Experience working with children, teens, and young adults preferred.

• Bilingual (English-Spanish or English-Creole) preferred.
